Cookie policy

1. What we do keep

One thing, and it never leaves your device: the language you picked. It is stored in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, and it is never sent to us or to anyone else.

It is only written when you actually click one of the language buttons. If the site simply opened in your device language and you left it alone, nothing is stored at all.

You can delete it whenever you like, from your browser settings: Chrome and Edge under Privacy and security, Firefox under Privacy and Security, Safari under Privacy and Manage website data. The site keeps working, it just goes back to reading your language from your device.

2. Why there is no cookie banner

Because there is nothing to ask you about. A banner exists to collect consent for tracking, and we do none. A preference you set yourself, kept on your own device to serve you the page you asked for, does not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive.

3. What comes from outside

One thing does, and we would rather tell you than have you find out.

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Google Fonts sets no cookies, but to serve a font it necessarily receives your IP address, and Google LLC is in the United States. If that bothers you, a browser extension that blocks external fonts will stop it, and the site will fall back to your system typefaces. Google explains its side in its privacy policy.

There is nothing else: no Analytics, no Tag Manager, no Meta pixel, no embedded videos, no social widgets. The Instagram and Facebook links are ordinary links, and they only reach those companies if you click them.

What happens to an email address you give us is a different question, answered in the privacy policy.
